Here are this week's questions and answers from the book - "Guidelines to Separating Challah and Candle Lighting." by Rabbi Y. Jaeger & R’ E. Barclay: See below for details.
60. Can one combine different tasting doughs?
If one would not mind the doughs being merged into one dough, they can be combined.
61. Can baked foods be combined?
Yes, but only if they have similar tastes. They are considered similar if one would not have minded them being merged when they were dough.
We have special permission to present each week, questions from the book - "Guidelines >to Separating Challah and Candle Lighting." by Rabbis Y. Jaeger & E. Barclay. (Targum) I have found this book to be clear and informative and am grateful that the authors are allowing us to use it as part of our email. As you will see from the questions and answers presented in the emails, this is a worthwhile book to have on your shelf. As a token of appreciation to the authors, you might want to purchase this book for friends, newlyweds, yourself etc. You can email questions to: guidelines@targum.com. The laws are presented according to the Ashkenazic custom.
PLEASE Email me with new names and when to keep davening. Thank you so much!!
