Are we obliged to make babies, if there is a question of fertility?

Are all babies that a Jewish mother gives birth to, Jewish? Or only Jewish ova?

It makes sense but I asked anyway. Now I read that indeed the baby born to a Jewish mother is Jewish, which if her ova is born through a non Jewish uterus and vagina then the baby is not born Jewish.
