Baruch Dayan Emes!

I remember hearing a story of one Chess master who Rav Weinberg was trying to be mekarev, and the person would not be persuaded to join the yeshiva. Rav Weinberg made a deal - he'll play a game of chess with this Master, and if the Rosh Yeshiva wins - then the person would join the Yeshiva. Of course, the Rosh Yeshiva won the game. He said it was with Hashem's help that he won the game because he played the game only for the sake of the person to become frum.
