“The laws and ethics of the Talmud have served as a cornerstone of humanity’s civil and moral infrastructure, while shaping its’ legal judicial systems. This Jewish Law Symposium, will compare and contrast legal reasoning and adaptation between Talmudic and American Law in regards to a most relevant issue we all face in today’s economic slowdown:, “Balancing Professional and Personal Ethics in Challenging Economic Times”, said Rabbi Shalom Lubin, founder of the Jewish Law Symposium and Executive Director of Chabad of SE Morris County.
The Jewish Law Symposium is a project of Chabad of SE Morris County, a Jewish outreach and educational organization located at 42 Park Ave. in Madison. Over the past three years, the Symposium has been very successful at adding real value and new insights to the lives and practices of its’ participants.
NJ Supreme Court Justice Barry T. Albin was the featured presenter at last year’s Jewish Law Symposium, which attracted 200 Attorneys and judges.
